The stakes are high as you and your team negotiate a deal with a major supplier. A person who has driven hard bargains in the past and has shown himself to be unethical in conducting prior negotiations leads the supplier's team. The negotiations are ending after two days, but the parties are coming back for a third day in an attempt to reach an agreement. Tempers have flared on both days. When you leave the hotel conference room where the negotiations have occurred, you are not convinced that there will be an agreement. As you are about to step into the elevator, you cannot find your phone. You tell your team to go to dinner, and you will meet them. You return to the conference room and look for your phone.
