Statistical Methods Assignment -
Using data set dataset_mlr.txt, build a multiple linear regression model between Y and (X1, X2, X4) (use R or other software).
(a) Interpret all the p-values (from both t-test and F-test) and the R-squared.
(b) Construct an ANOVA table and calculate the R-squared using the table.
(c) Predict the value of Y for a new sample with X1 = 2, X2 = 1, X3 = 0.5, X4 = 1.5.
(d) Check the normality assumption for residuals using Shapiro-Wilk test. State your null and alternative hypotheses and draw a conclusion.
NOTE: You need show all your work in order to get full credit for each problem.

It is a statistics class and its only one question with 4 parts. It is asking to build a multiple linear regression model between Y and (X1,X2,X4) using R. Interpret all the p-values (from both t-test and F-test) and the R-squared. Construct an ANOVA table and calculate the R-squared using the table. Predict the value of Y for a new sample with X1 = 2,X2 = 1,X3 = 0.5,X4 = 1.5. Check the normality assumption for residuals using Shapiro-Wilk test. State your null and alternative hypotheses and draw a conclusion.
