In this week's assignment, students will construct a detailed operational budget: personnel budget for the final business plan (Module 13). A detailed operational plan includes personnel cost and non-personnel cost (i.e. direct unit expenses and overhead expenses). Personnel cost involves the cost of Fixed Staff and variable staff. Direct unit expenses include the cost of medical supplies, office supplies, non-capital equipment, seminars, publications, etc. Overhead Expenses includes administrative salaries, building depreciation, equipment depreciation, laundry services, pharmacy items, laboratory services, communications, etc. The final business plan project for this course is designed to give you actual experience in developing both a written plan and a power point presentation

Assignment Instructions:

- Construct a "Personnel Budget" for the detailed operating budget in a table format. Include the following components in the Personnel Budget: Number of required FTEs, Shifts worked, Total Cost before Fringes, Fringe Rate, Fringe $, Total Personnel Cost for both Fixed and Variable Staff.
