The variables listed are: Company Name, Headquarter, Industry, Revenue (in Billions), Marketing Budget (millions), Number of employees, administrative Expenses, and Market Capitalization (Market Cap, Billions).
Using Excel Data Analysis, construct the descriptive Statistics of 5 listed numerical values and comment on shape of each data set.
Construct 4 scatter diagrams of each variable against Market Cap (Y variable). Identify outlier companies in each graph. Make sure to label the X and Y variable in graphs.
Based on graphs, identify possible outlier companies.
Construct a correlation matrix of all 5 variables and discuss correlations between variables against Market Cap. Rank the variables based on correlation with Market Cap.
Construct a full multiple regression model of Market Cap (Y) against the other variables.
Outline the regression equation, and interpret the R-squared, Significant F, and list the variables based on P-values in the order of significance in the model.
Construct a multiple regression model of the top 3 variables in part (d) and outline the regression equation, and interpret the R-squared, Significant F, and list the variables based on P-values in the order of significance in the model. Make sure to find the residual values for this model.
Based on the residual values in part e, list the top 5 (undervalued) and bottom 5 overvalued companies based on the residuals. Positive residual indicates overvalued and negative residuals indicate undervalue companies in terms of market cap.
