Twenty-five students completed a questionnaire that measured their attitudes toward interpersonal violence. The scores were as follows: 52, 47, 17, 8, 92, 53, 23, 28, 9, 90, 17, 63, 17, 17, 23, 19, 66, 10, 20, 47, 20, 66, 5, 25, 17

A high score indicates that the respondent believed that physical force could legitimately be used in many situations. Low scores mean that the respondent thought that violence could be justified in few or no situations. If using Excel: Set k=10 so the first interval is 0-9. The second interval is 10-19 etc in

Column B. The last interval is 89-99. Leave the information ungrouped if using SPSS

  1. Construct a frequency distribution in either Excel or SPSS to display these data. Remember to include a title frequencies, percent, cumulative percent, relative frequency, and totals for your chart (Note: In Excel you just want the highest number in each bin, so for the first bin you would have 9, the second 19 etc). Provide your frequency distribution.
  2. What is the cumulative percent for scores 49 and lower?
  3. Construct a histogram in Excel or SPSS of this data. Use midpoints (4.5, 14.5 etc) for the Xaxis
