Compare and contrast how three (3) of the following - The Ottoman Empire, Russia, Japan, China, Brazil - reacted to the challenges brought about by liberal constitutionalism and industrialization between 1789 and 1900. Of the three chosen, who was most successful in adapting to the challenges and why?

The answer  is essay question should be argumentative and structured as a traditional essay. This means need  an introduction that outlines the essay question and  answer to it (answer will be the thesis statement). To support answer, need   supporting analyses that draw on through evidence.

Concluding paragraph,  will restate  answer to the question and summarize why  believe this response is convincing given the preceding analysis. I have also included sections below discussing preparation, crafting a clear thesis statement, and how to structure an analysis.  

Direct quotes must therefore be properly introduced and given context - essentially explain who/what is being quoted and why before giving the quote - and no quoted passage should be longer than one or two sentences BUT ALWAYS OWN WORDS IS PREFERABLE, MEAN PARAPHARSING

Answers will be assessed on how well you answer the essay question, how persuasive the supporting arguments are, as well as how relevant and detailed the evidence provided is for the topic.
