The bond angle for the C-N-C bond is 140 °, significantly larger than expected for sp2 hybridization and significantly smaller than expected for sp hybridization. Considering the different resonance structures that contribute to the resonance hybrid in this molecule, explain why this molecule has a larger bond angle than the isoelectronic methyl azide.
