As the human resources manager, develop a case for your contention that the selection of Mary Younger did not violate the contract. According to the contract, seniority and qualifications would be considered for filling up the position of a leader. In this case, Mary considered both the aspects while selecting the suitable candidate. Mary interviewed both candidates and evaluated them on the basis of initiative, communication concerns reported by him against when he had been the third shift leader. Robert Elder seniority, qualification and experience was considered for the position. however, Mary Younger was qualified to become a leader as per the job requirements and all other considerations. As such, none of terms of contract was violated.
