Campbell, Chapter Five: The Hero's Adventure, 151-206.

Now write a short 4-5 page myth of your own. The myth story should reflect these qualities:

Question A. Consider what the specific factors in myth are versus legend or fable. Be sure to build a myth specifically.

Question B. Consider what cultural aspects you might fold in that reflect our current worries and ethics and priorities in our own culture right now.

Question C. Use the readings to inspire you and guide you in writing this piece. You can use actual elements of any of the Berlin collected tales. Use guidance from the Vogler text to include particular archetypes and as many story stages as you can. Use the Campbell text interviews to inspire your overall intentions in the writing.
