Consider the head-of-line priority system. Suppose that each priority class is divided into several subclasses with different "drop" priorities. For each priority subclass there is a threshold that if exceeded by the queue length results in discarding of arriving packets from the corresponding subclass. Explain the range of delay and loss behaviors that are experienced by the different subclasses.
