Case Study: Social justice is the idea that our knowledge production and other social activities should work towards the social emancipation of everyone. Consider the cultural, political and economic constraints faced by people such as the migrants waiting along the Mexican-American boarder, the migrants traveling to Europe by boat across the Mediterranean Sea, the conditions faced by migrant workers who helped to do the construction for the recent FIFA World Cup, or another example of a disadvantaged group facing disadvantage in the bourgeois public sphere.

INSTRUCTIONS: Using a single case study use class theory, and historical insights, to analyze a case of a fight for social justice today. Your answer should be between 400-600 word. Key concepts should be well-defined. The goal is to show what you know from class materials with minimal emphasis on creating brilliant new ideas. A formal bibliography is not necessary, importance is being able to use/define key terms and link such terms to their theorists
