You are the General Manager of a Big Data Analysis consulting company. One of the Software Development Department supervisor's presented you the following situation.
Jack, the complaining supervisor, has been with the company for five years and had to work his way up progressing from position to position and is now one of the best supervisors in the company. He as a strong work ethic, achieves the expected results within the defined timelines and has never rejected the increasing responsibilities. Nonetheless, Jack noticed that other supervisors, with the same years in the company, with less dedication, and underachieving in every aspect in comparison with I'm, have the same pay and benefits.
He tried to bypass those issues and kept working hard, but soon he felt overwhelmed because his peer's failure to complete their tasks has even interfered with his job performance.
You acknowledged these issues and offered him a 20% salary raise. Furthermore, you spoke with each supervisor about their failure to complete their work tasks on time. Nonetheless, the excuses they presented. the supervisors were verbally warned and told to complete their work professionally in the future and that the company will implement a reward system based on clear performance goals for the supervisors.
