One of the consequences for the growing poor is worsening health, and the reasons are not as obvious as you might think. Yes, lower socioeconomic status (SES) means less access to health care and living in more disease-prone neighborhoods.

My reasons

Reasons:

(1) Upper-Class people have better access to healthcare and broader options.

(2) Those who must work long hours, hard labor, or lack of off time from work usually neglect or sacrifice their health.

(3) Stress can cause health problems and low to moderate level income neighborhoods have more environmental stress
