1) Do you think that most children are victimized by acquaintances or strangers? Do you think the public perception and depictions of childhood abuse match the reality?
2) Do you believe there is a connection between youth victimization and delinquency and trauma, including the development of aggressive habits, truancy, and burglary as well increased vulnerability to anxiety, fear, and depression?
3) Do we/should consider a history of abuse as a mitigating when a victim becomes an offender? Especially children? What kind of supports do you think evidence suggests would best help break this cycle of violence and victimization?
4) I think Most people think rationally when and before they commit a crime. If the criminal is motivated by social factors, they have considered the personal and situational factors before committing a crime and made that choice. Most crimes involve thought and planning such as getting the proper equipment, an escape plan, and the benefits that can be brought by it. what you think? your point of view please.
5) Do you believe Capital punishment does not deter crimes. "People commit murders largely in the heat of passion, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or because they are mentally ill, giving little or no thought to the possible consequences of their acts".
