In a sample of 150 hospital emergency admissions with a certain diagnosis, 128 listed vomiting as a presenting symptom. Do these data provide sufficient evidence to indicate, at the .01 level of significance, that the population proportion is less than.92? Determine the P value.

Data: Subjects 1-150 = Vomiting Yes

We wish to determine if we can conclude that more than 90% of ALL hospital emergency admissions with this diagnosis present with vomiting. Find and interpret a 95% confidence interval for the true proportion of hospital emergency admissions with this diagnosis who present with vomiting. Verify that it is appropriate to use the confidence interval method based on the Central Limit Theorem for this problem.
