Problem: A polling sample is selected by using random sampling method with the sample size n = 1005 adults of USA and population/ all adults in USA. The confidence interval for the true proportion of the American adults believes new health care bill is given as (0.44, 0.52).

Lower bound = 0.44 or 44%

Upper bound = 0.52 or 52%

Point estimate = 0.48 or 48%

Margin of error = 0.04 or 4%

Is the confidence level given ? If so, we could try to duplicate the calculations? If not, we could perhaps work backwards to find it.
