Suppose a drug company wants test whether a new drug that it has been developed, Phantol, is more effective than its competitor drug, Virol. The company defines "more effective" as Phantol will provide relief to a greater proportion of its users than Virol. Let's suppose that it is known that 70% of users of Virol get some relief of symptoms when they use that drug. Suppose that, of a sample of 300 patients, 75% state that Phantol provided them with some relief from symptoms. Construct a 95% confidence interval for the true proportion, mean, of Phantol users who got relief from using the drug. Do you feel comfortable concluding that Phantol is better than Vitol? Explain clearly.
