You are a diabetes nurse educator that offers monthly group sessions for people living in the community that have been diagnosed with type II diabetes (T2DM). You randomly sample 10 clients attending one of your sessions, and find the mean age of the sample is 27. Assume the population of people living in the community with T2DM is approximately normally distributed with a known variance of 20.

(i) Assuming α= 0.05, can you conclude that the true mean age of the clients attending your sessions is 30?
