In looking over sales generated by 15 offices in his district, a manager noticed that the distribution of sales was right skewed. On a log10 scale, the data were symmetric; so he computed the 95% t-interval for the mean on the log scale. He then raised 10 to the power of the endpoints of the interval to get back to dollars.
