Over many years of conducting global health research and collaboration, I have had numerous opportunities to collaborate with Caritas organization's different branches. "Due to its vast grassroots network, Caritas is often the first on the scene to help and stays on when other humanitarian agencies have left" (Caritas, 2019) Per their own vision statement, "Caritas is inspired by Scripture and by the experiences and hopes of people who are disadvantaged and living in poverty. We work with people of all faiths and those who have none" (Caritas, 2019) In post-soviet countries Caritas often supports orphanages and early childhood disability centers. Please review their website and share your thoughts on their approach to child care.
