After you've taken some time to look through the Career Center website, conduct your own job or internship search. Find a position you're interested in (or that you would be interested in after graduating). Read through the job announcement carefully, and take note of the following:

• Contact info. (Who are you supposed to send the application materials to, and how are you supposed to submit them?)
• The documents required to apply (online application, resume, etc.)
• Deadline for applying
• Specific skills and qualifications they're looking for

Next, submit the following:

1. A copy of the job announcement (copy/paste into your document)

2. A list of the skills and qualifications you have that relate to what they're looking for. This can be a bullet-point list (not full sentences or paragraphs). As you think about your skills and qualifications, think broadly; you can draw from lots of different kinds of experience, including:
1. Work history
2. Education
3. Projects
4. Extra-curricular activities
