For the following two questions, please, determine the correct hypothesis test, state the null and research hypotheses in words and in symbols, then conduct the hypothesis test, and report the results in writing.

1. A researcher compares two diabetes medications (drug A and drug B) concerning their ability to lower blood sugar within 2 weeks of taking the drug. He enlists 200 diabetic patients and assigns them to two groups (group A and group B), each of 100 participant. Each group is instructed to take the relevant drug regularly for 2 weeks. Measurement of blood glucose before and after two weeks of regular intake of the drugs shows lowering of the blood sugar in 67 patients in group A (taking drug A), and in 72 patients in group B (taking drug B). Does the data indicate a significant difference between the two drugs? Test at the α = 0.05 level.

2. In the previous study, the reduction in mean blood glucose level for the 100 participants in group A (taking drug A) was calculated resulting in a sample's mean of differences of 32.3 mg/dL, and a standard deviation of 10.7 mg/dL. Is there a significant reduction in mean blood glucose level in the patients after using the drug for 2 weeks? Test at the α = 0.05 level.
