Also in the past, Apple hired independent auditors to conduct periodic audits of its overseas factories where components and assembly were often outsourced. Apple also had legal agreements drawn up and utilized with their subcontractors. The documentation was necessary and helped to alleviate liability in other countries since Labor laws and practices are often different abroad. In fact, since these procedures have been implemented there have been little to no violations of the Supplier Code of Conduct.

Apple, however, was able to go forth with the ethical issues they have faced in the past and that is the reason for them to be the number one company out there today. Apple is known worldwide, and it is very unlikely for it to fall due to unethical issues they have dealt in the past. Each year they come up with something new and trend setters go crazy for it.
