With a student body exceeding 15,000 individuals at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, AHU boasts a diverse community with over 30 countries represented by its approximately 3,000 international students. Presently, AHU offers an extensive selection of more than 150 courses, available both on its sprawling campus in Summitville and through its well-established online platform. As part of its strategic vision, AHU is currently contemplating the establishment of a new postgraduate teaching and executive education centre within the bustling central business district (CBD) of Summitville. This initiative aims to deliver a comprehensive range of courses spanning project management, business management, accounting, finance, management information, law, and cyber security. The target audience encompasses both domestic and international postgraduate students, as well as local businesses seeking professional development opportunities. The proposed location for this venture is within an existing office building in Summitville's CBD, which AHU plans to lease in due course. AHU seeks to capitalise on the city's recent economic growth, with many businesses expanding their operations and bringing in a diverse pool of talent. Securing an appropriate space for the centre is critical to AHU's plans for expansion, and they are keen to find a suitable property at a competitive rental rate. As the project stands in its initial planning phase, your pivotal role will shape AHU's procurement approach, delineating the crucial procurement activities that will form the foundation for the project's successful execution. Your diligent research and recommendations will be invaluable to the project board in making informed decisions regarding procurement strategies and related matters.

1. Conduct online research to establish the scope of the project and the likely activities that would be required to make this project a reality.
2. Determine what activities, supplies, or services needed for the AHU project could be contracted out.
3. Creat a request for information and a request for quotation or proposal for one portion of the project work that could be contracted out. [Note: You can use the templates introduced in Module 4 or any template of your choice].
4. Determine criteria you would use to select sellers for the portion of contract work under consideration.
5. Determine what type of contract you would use for this work and explain why you have chosen this type of contract.
6. Summarise all your work in a business report which also contains recommendations for the project board about the relevant issues you have researched and include any procurement documents as appendices.
