Problem: The purpose of this problem is to conduct an interview with a representative from human resources at a local health care organization to review the role and impact of the human resources department in that organization. In a 12 to 15 slides PowerPoint presentation, address how the following elements: Identify the human resource functions (such as benefits, employee relations, and risk management) that the organization utilizes and describe how they contribute to support of the organizational structure. Identify the various human resource tools (employee handbook, job descriptions, written policies, grievance forms, etc.) in the organizational structure, how they are used, and their importance. Examine what effect the human resources processes and policies have on patient care. Identify major human resources challenges the organization has faced and how they were handled.
