Keep It Simple Academics is a small startup business based in Australia. It offers online study courses and private tutoring for year 12 and VCE students. The business has been fairly successful in its first few years in operation, raising initial seed funding and attracting a customer base of VCE students and their parents. However, the business has struggled to make decisions regarding its business model. For years, the team has been debating between several different models, including the subscription model, the merchant model, and the freemium model. With online courses and private tutoring offered, the team has even debated the idea of running separate business models for these platforms.

Seeking clarity and guidance with their business strategy, the team at KIS Academics have approached you to provide consultation and advice on the best business model to monetise their business.
