Read Chapter - The Future of Film Tourism on pages 103 - 116 of the textbook. As a senior consultant for a private consultancy firm, your executive manager has asked you to conduct an analysis of a film tourism destination. The analysis will form the basis of a submission being presented at an industry conference.

In preparing a case study, undertake research from academic journals, books, industry sources and the media about your film tourism destination.

The case study MUST address the following six (6) areas:

1. Define and explain the film tourism trend.

2. Describe the selected destination's consumer appeal.

3. Briefly outline of the destination's history.

4. Evaluate the nature of the host - guest interaction at the destination.

5. Assess the impact of tourist visitation on the destination (economically, socially, and environmentally), and describe how the destination is currently dealing with these impacts; and,

6. Provide recommendations on how the destination can minimise the impact from, but also maximise the opportunity of, film tourism.
