Name Discrimination; In a research study, the Wall Street Journal conducted a survey on candidate names and how HR screeners viewed and evaluated the names of applicants. It's not surprising to learn that applicants with different-looking names were less likely to receive an interview than the same applicant with a more traditional-looking name. What can be done here? Should applicants adapt their resumes in any way or is doing so, just a reinforcement of the discrimination they are facing?
