A hairstyle researcher wants to conduct a study to see if blonds really do have more fun. She obtains a sample of 10 people. She has them rate how much fun they had in the past week on a 7-point Likert-item scale in which higher scores mean more fun. She then sends each of them home with a blond wig with instructions to wear the wig for an entire week. At the end of the week, the participants return to the hairstylist and again rate how much fun they had in the past week (on the same 7-point scale). Do blonds have more fun? Here are the data.
