Develop a marketing plan

TASK 1 -

You have been given a marketing plan on "VTI Diners" in Appendix A. Read it thoroughly. You are required to develop specific marketing strategies and tactics in accordance with the organisation's overall marketing objectives.

You are required to summarise the following from the given marketing plan:

a) Marketing vision and goals

b) Marketing needs, trends, description and segmentation

c) Core marketing and product/service strategy

d) Sales strategy, advertising and promotions including any strategic alliances

e) Describe how these strategies are in line with overall strategies

f) Conducting a SWOT analysis with a business of similar nature

g) Develop set of marketing objectives to improve SWOT analysis

h) Discuss all legal and ethical requirements and considerations while developing a marketing plan.

i) The above strategies should include scheduling, costing, accountabilities and person/s responsible.

j) Any takeovers or franchising for possible expansion in market

k) Conduct a risk analysis of the marketing plan

TASK 2 -

You are required to present the summary of the marketing plan attached in Appendix A along with the findings you have reported in Assessment 1 to your training group and assessor. You can use any method of presentation of your choice.

You are also required to submit a hard copy of your presentation to the assessor for documentation and evaluation. You should present your marketing plan with confidence and being knowledgeable. You must be flexible and cc nfidei1t enough in responding to queries and feedback.

Word/Page Count: 8 pages + 6 slides and Formatting & Referencing: Harvard. My lecture will pay more attention on assessor checklist in each task. Task 1 in 8 pages, task 2 in 6 slides. Students must complete all assessment tasks and submit their evidence to the assessor. Each task will be graded as either S — Satisfactory or NS — Not Satisfactory by the assessor. Students will be given feedback by the assessor. The assessor will use Task checklists to assess each task. If the task is graded as NS — Not Satisfactory, the assessor will provide clear feedback to the student and the student will be required to re-submit the evidence.

When all assessment tasks have been graded as S — Satisfactory, the student will be deemed C — Competent. If all the assessment tasks are not satisfactorily completed, the student will be deemed NC — Not Yet Competent and the Assessor will detail the reasons for this assessment decision on the front page of this document. Students can appeal to Vocational Training Institute against an assessment decision. This appeal should be made in writing within 7 days of the assessment decision.
