In your review, discuss the characteristics that are needed for it to be regarded as research. Also, draw a distinction between basic research and applied research

It is expected that this critical essay will make use of relevant, scholarly literature. Students are also required to submit in week 4 a list of scholarly literature they have found as part of their literature review.
