A large furniture retailer wants to conduct a customer satisfaction survey. Customers are divided into groups based on the amount of money they have spent at the retailer's stores in the past year: less than $2000, from $2000 to $3999.99, from $4000 to $8,000, or more than $8000. Management then randomly selects 200 customers from each group and sends them the survey. About 50 customers in each group responded to the survey.
