A sample of 10 observations taken from a normally distributed population produced the following data:

(a) Test the hypothesis that H0 : μ = 44 vs. Ha : μ /= 44 using α = 0.10. Draw a box plot and normal plot for this data, and comment.

(b) Find a 90% con?dence interval for the population mean μ.
