Question

Elon is an 8 year old male whose aunt (primary caregiver) brought him in due to concerns of eating paper. Elon is a normally developed child, who is doing well in school and is described as a well-developed, happy child. Aunt reports Elon has been eating paper for the past 2 months. His PCP has examined him and was not able to locate a medical cause for this behavior. Aunt has hidden paper from him and taken all paper from his room, but Elon is locating the paper at school and in his sibling's bedroom. Aunt reported Elon has not had any major changes or losses in his life in the past year.
