Since they are the cornerstone of democracy and personal freedom, individual rights are more significant than public order, which is necessary to preserve safety and security but should not be sacrificed in the name of individual liberty. Public order should be enforced however, it should not jeopardize one's personal freedom or cause harm to someone. Personal freedom is essential to create a society where people can express themselves, follow their interests, and participate in the community without fear of discrimination or oppression. How do the concepts of "rule of law" and "due process" relate to your perspective?
