Using the concepts of Inner and Outer Wisdom, you will (These are the criteria on which your project will be assessed):

1. Identify and describe challenges and strengths in current eating behaviors (before the course) both Mindless and Mindful Eating.

2. Describe and give examples of mindful eating behaviors that you are learning and trying while you are taking the course.

3. Recognize and apply principles and practises that will help to cultivate mindfulness in eating, ie specific meditative practises of mindful eating strategies, concepts and facts from readings and research, intentions, etc.

4. Project to include specific mention of discoveries about taste sensation, hunger, fullness awareness and how emptiness figures into the experience of eating (components of YUMEE activities).

5. Create a realistic, joyful and sustainable plan for how you intend to eat for the rest of your life.

The final assignment is to be a minimum of 800 words.

Let your plan evolve, keeping notes and gathering insights about mindfulness and food.

You will be exposed to many great ideas through the readings and discovering so much about yourself and how you eat. This project can be created in any way or format that you like including web resources, video (your own Youtube), audio, Power Point, essay, etc. The important thing is to investigate yourself and then connect with your intention for the future.
