The concepts of atheism and secular humanism are based on the assumption that God does not exist. As a result of this assumption, man is a result of random events and genetic mutations rather than a created being fashioned by a loving Creator to whom he is accountable. Because God does not exist He cannot be the ultimate standard to determine right and wrong, good and evil. In his place, Man serves as the standard for determining right and wrong and good and evil.
