Expand on The Bible encourages honesty and integrity in all dealings (Proverbs 10:9). This can be applied to the concept of patents and trade secrets. When a company applies for a patent, it should do so honestly, not attempting to patent something that is not its original invention. Similarly, when a company keeps a trade secret, it should not dishonestly acquire others' trade secrets.
