How do I find the extinction coefficient of something using the slope of the line of best fit for the graph of its absorbance vs concentration. Basically, we had to find the absorbance and concentration of curcumin at various concentrations and graph them. Then we found the line of best fit, which had a positive slope. The questions asks to calculate the extinction coefficient with this information. I thought that you only needed the absorbance and concentration to find the extinction coefficient. How do I use the slope?
There are two different schemes you could use to synthesize 4-ethyl-3-heptanol using a Grignard reagent and a carbonyl-containing compound
Devise a procedure that would confirm the presence of Pb^2+ ion in a mixture Pb^2+ and Cu^2+ ions. Devise a procedure that would confirm the presence of Ni^2+ ion in a mixture containing Pb^2+ and Ni^2+ ions. Based on the data explain why it would or..
Helium (ϒ=3/5) at 300 K and 1 atm pressure is compressed quasi-statically and adiabatically to a pressure of 5 atm. Assuming that the helium behaves like the ideal gas, calculate the final temperature.
