Through a fierce battle by an alien ship all power has been cut to your star ship. Only life support systems are working! your captain comes to you and asks you to design a spring launcher fixed to the star ship that will give a 12.5 kg quantum photonic hyperbolic torpedo a speed of 405 m/s. this is your one shot to take out your enemy. You attach the torpedo to the spring and oscillate it back and forth and discover that the frequency of oscillation is4Hz. You can ignore the springs mass, the recoil kinetic energy of the spacecraft, and changes in gravitation potential energy. You are in deep space! a.) make an initial and final sketch of the situation. b.) Compute the stiffness constant of the spring and the distance by which the spring must be compressed.
