The Cliffs of Dover are chalk cliffs found along the English Channel near Dover, England. The Scarborough Bluffs are limestone cliffs along the north shore of Lake Ontario. Both formations are largely made out of calcium carbonate and both are eroding at an alarming rate. Compute the solubility of calcium carbonate in both seawater also lake water suppose the ion concentration in lake water is negligible and determine if seawater is a greater threat to the Cliffs of Dover than lake water is to the Scarborough Bluffs
