An RLC circuit consisting of a 350 ohm resistor, a 2.4 µF capacitor and a 41.2 mH inductor is driven by a variable-frequency AC source with 120 Vrms.

a) Determine the reactance of the capacitor and the inductor, and compute the circuit impedance (Z), when the applied frequency is 13.5 kHz [Note: 1 kHz = 1,000 Hz]. Determine what is the rms current in the circuit?

b) Compute the resonance frequency. Compute the rms current at this frequency.
