A narrow beam of light passes through a plate of glass with thickness 1.34 cm and a refractive index 1.53. The beam enters from air at an angle 29.8o . The goal is to calculate the deviation d of the ray as indicated in the figure.

Following the light ray in the direction indicated by the arrows, compute the refracted angle θ2. Compute the refracted angle θ3 from the glass to air as the ray exits the glass. Find deviation d .
