Several companies use sampling to find out whether batch must be accepted. A (n, c) sampling plan comprises of inspecting n randomly selected items from batch and accepting the batch if c or fewer sampled items are defective. Assume company uses (100, 5) sampling plan to find out whether batch of 100,000 chips is acceptable. a) Compute the probability of rejecting a batch which has 3% defectives? b)Determine the probability of accepting batch that has 9% defectives?
