A single-turn square loop of side is centered on the axis of a long solenoid. In addition, plane of the square loop is perpendicular to the axis of the solenoid. The solenoid has 1520 turns per meter and a diameter of 5.79 cm, and carries a current of 2.06 A.

Compute the magnetic flux through the loop when = 5.79 cm.

The square loop circuit has sides of length 2.00 m, and each resistor is 4.60 Ω. The loop is placed in a uniform 0.330 T magnetic field pointing into the page. The loop that is hinged at each corner is pulled as shown in anticipation of the distance between points P and Q is 2.40 m. (The sides of the circuit stay the same length, however the square is "flattened" into a rhombus.)
