1. At 400 degrees C, carbon monoxide and water react to form carbon dioxide and hydrogen according to the following reaction.

CO(g) + H20(g) = CO2(g) + H2(g)

a) Write the expressions for Kp and Kc for this reaction.

b) Would Kp and Kc be numerically the same? Explain.

c) Kc for this reaction is 5.1 at 400 degrees C. Calculate the equilibrium concentrations of the four gases if the initial concentration of each of them is 0.050M.
