A 0.50% (w/w) aqueous solution of acetic acid has a density of 0.9989 g mL-1. (a). Calculate the molality and the molarity of the acid in this solution. (b). This solution freezes at -0.1590c. Calculate the degree of dissociation (he fraction of molecules dissociated) for the acid in this solution. (You may assume that the mean ionic activity coefficient has a value of 1). (c) From the degree of dissociation, determine the acidity constant (Ka) for this acid.
