During a weatherstorm, an atmospheric discharge hits a lightning pole that is grounded through a hemisphere. The maximum value of the lightning current through the rod is 20kA. The soil of the area is moist. A man is playing golf 50m away from the center of the hemisphere. At the moment of the lightning strike, the distance between histwo feet is 0.4m. Compute the current through the person assuming that the resistance between his legs is 1500Ω.
