Question - Miyoteko Sdn Bhd (MSB) is a manufacturer of Malaysian exclusive kitchenware brand Micasa' in Kulim, Kedah. The extract of sales report of the taxable goods of MSB for the month of August 2020 was as follows:

1. Export 100 sets of Micasa Dinner set at RM2,000 per set to Canterbury, New Zealand.

2. Sold 30 sets of Micasa Tea set at RM850 per set to Mayang Seri Enterprise, Pangkor, Perak.

3. Sold RM30,000 worth of kitchenware to Impinana Trading Sdn Bhd, Segamat, Johor.

4. Sold RM12,000 worth of kitchenware to Sawah EmasTrading Sdn Bhd, Langkawi, Kedah.

5. Sponsored 10 sets of dinner set worth RM 1,000 per set to Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah, Malaysia.

Required -

a) Compute the amount of sales tax payable by Miyoteko Sdn Bhd in respect of the above transaction (if any). (Sales tax is at 10%).

b) Compute the amount of debt due to the tax authority, if Miyoteko Sdn Bhd wished to submit the amount of sales tax in respect of the above transactions on 28 November 2020.
