Question - On May 5, 2017, Max acquired and placed in service 7-year property costing $70,000. Max did not elect to expense under section 179 but claimed the 50% bonus depreciation. In addition, on November 3, 2017, Max acquired and placed in service 5-year office equipment costing $50,000. Max did not claim bonus depreciation or any election to expense. Compute the amount of MACRS depreciation deduction for the 2020 tax year.
